Have you got a question you'd like to ask the Tunbridge Wells first team management? If you've got a reasonable question to ask, don't hold back, email Steve Gibbons at [email protected] and have it answered in this column!
Matt Asked-It could be said if we get past Beckenham in the Kent Senior Trophy, we'd deserve to lift the cup (potentially our first silverware in quite some time?) after disposing of the League's top two sides en route... Can we expect extra effort for the side on the day, and how will the management prepare for the game in the light of losing the league game there 3-0 recently?
Gibbo Says: The quick answer to the first part of the question regarding extra effort is of course, if you can't get up for a semi final then you are playing the wrong game. The players are all well aware of the task ahead and are looking forward to the game.
We obviously can't say what our plans are but 8 at the back 7 in midfield and 9 up front were scuppered by the officials from the league who mentioned a flaw in the plans...something about only allowing 11 players on our side.
We trained on Tuesday night and i am not sure if Shane Hickmott having shooting practice naked from the waist down and Brad Mortimer streaking fully naked accross the pitch before fleeing to the woods was a help or not. We'll see come Saturday.
The second question you can draw your own conclusions from...
XXX said: Gibbo, i just wanted to know when young Shane Hickmott would be getting a run out again as he has it all it would seem,
He always looks a danger when me and my friends watch the wells,
Go" Shane Go".
The boys a genius......
