U13 Reports
| Tunbridge Wells FC U13's vs Slade Green FC. 27th September |
Once again my thanks to all the boys, the effort you all put in yesterday was brilliant in very warm conditions. The whole team performed excellently and we were very pleased to see you have a bit more confidence and start passing the ball around, also your discipline in keeping our shape and doing the things we talked about before the game was great. The first half performance was initially quite defensive but as it went on I thought we started to push forward and with a bit more luck could have scored and this set the tone for a game which was end to end and if I am honest could have gone either way, we could have sneaked it and it would not have been luck if we had however I think a draw was on the face of it a fair result. Callum in goal had a great game, his general keeping very good, the defence of Callum, Elliott M, Adam, Tom and Daniel all had solid games and as I said earlier started to get on the ball and start some great moves from the back. The midfield worked tirelessly to impose themselves not giving an inch in the tackling stakes and closing people down and using the ball well when we got it, being an old central midfield player, I know how hard it can be and I thought Jake, Charlie and Billy all had great games and worked really well together, Elliott B, Nick out wide and Joe all getting through a lot of running and causing there defence a lot problems. Ben worked tirelessly and got the ball down and ran at their defence causing and creating a lot of opportunities, Kane unfortunately only lasted a short while due to a shoulder injury. I think I have mentioned everyone just a couple of things more Callum's penalty save, TOP CLASS, Elliott Moon's tackle in the second half again , TOP CLASS. even the opposition applauded it. Last but not least Man of the Match some great performances a real team effort but it goes to Callum Ryan for an excellent goalkeeping display. |
