Wells 1 Storrington 2

Wells 1

Storrington 2

A very big and physical Storrington side travelled from Sussex and proved a little too strong for a Wells side playing their first freindly.

All goals came in the second half, Storrington going 2 up after an hour, and Ben Kilsby pulled one back in the last 5 mins.

All players gave everything, but special mentions go out to Campbell, Russell and Vidler.

Mike Robbins quoted "The game was probably a little too early for us, as they bullied us and looked sharper for the first 20 mins".

He added " It was an excellent run out for all the lads and has given a few of the lads a nice taste of it. We should even improve on that in the next game here on Thursday night."

Wells line up.....  Copeland, Lord, Vidler (Capt) , Wheeler, Russell (O Hara 55),Mortimer, Lyall (Jones 45), Lewis (Arnold 45) , Whittaker (Kilsby 75)Campbell (Davis 70), Barrand (Graham 70)
